Reflecting at the end of the course.

Here we are at the end of the course...you have made a variety of different kinds of drawings and paintings over the past few months. How would you sum up your artistic experience this term? On your blog share what have you discovered and learned about:

• the world of drawing and painting in general.
• your technical abilities in drawing and painting.
• your interests in terms of subject matter and content...what you have to say as an artist.

Be as specific as you can and use examples from the work you've made to support your ideas.

Artist-in-Residence: Alexander DeMaria

This week artist Alexander DeMaria will be visiting Beaver.

He will be giving a talk about his work in Bradley Hall during X Block on Wednesday and in The Nancy Lincoln Gallery for the opening of his exhibit of Thursday from 12-1.
Please be sure to attend both events.

To prepare to do so, click HERE, and spend 5-10 minutes taking a look at Alex's work on his website.
